Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Morpha ("we", "our", or "us") is an AI-powered hairstyle try-on application available on iOS. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Morpha, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

Account & Identity

When you sign in with Apple, we receive your name and email address as provided by Apple. You may choose to hide your email, in which case Apple provides a relay address.

Profile Attributes

To personalise style recommendations, we ask you to provide information about yourself during onboarding. This may include:

Some of these attributes may be inferred automatically via AI face scan during onboarding. The face scan is optional and can be skipped.

Photos

When you perform a hair try-on, you select a photo from your library or take one with your camera. That photo is transmitted securely to our AI processing provider (see Section 4) and is not permanently stored on our servers. The AI-generated result image is stored in your personal gallery.

Push Notification Token

If you grant notification permission, we store your device push token to notify you when a try-on result is ready.

Device & Usage Data

We may collect basic technical information such as device type and app version to operate and improve the service. We do not use third-party analytics services.

3. How We Use Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

Morpha relies on the following third-party services to operate. By using Morpha, you acknowledge that your data is shared with these providers as described.

AI processing and your photos: When you perform a hair try-on or face scan, your photo is transmitted to our AI processing provider. That provider may use inputs to improve their models under their own data usage policies. We do not control their data practices and encourage you to review the privacy policies of the AI services we use.

5. Photos and Camera

Morpha requests access to your camera and photo library for the sole purpose of enabling the hair try-on feature.

You can revoke camera and photo permissions at any time in your device Settings.

6. AI-Generated Images

Try-on results are synthetic composite images created by AI. They are stored in your personal Morpha gallery and accessible via signed URLs that expire after 7 days. After expiry, you will need to regenerate the try-on to view it again.

You can delete individual results at any time from the My Looks tab. Deleted images are removed from both our database and file storage.

8. Data Deletion

Delete individual try-ons

In the My Looks tab, tap the menu on any result and select Delete. This permanently removes the record and the image file from our servers.

Delete your account

In Settings, tap Delete Account. This permanently deletes all your try-on images, try-on records, and profile data from our servers and signs you out. This action cannot be undone.

You may also contact us at help.morpha.app@outlook.com to request deletion of any remaining data associated with your account.

Account deletion removes your profile and try-on data. A minimal authentication record may be retained for fraud prevention and security purposes.

9. Push Notifications

With your permission, Morpha sends you a push notification when your hair try-on result is ready. We do not send marketing or promotional push notifications.

You can disable notifications at any time in your device Settings under Notifications → Morpha. Your notification identifier is stored in your profile and is removed when you delete your account.

10. Children's Privacy

Morpha is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we continuously work to protect your information.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes, we will notify you via the app or email. Continued use of Morpha after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
